Joshua recounts his early years growing up in Bushwick, his family's struggles as they faced eviction from their Bushwick home and their subsequent search for affordable housing. He shares his story of how he pursued a college education and sought to become more involved in the fight for affordable housing in Bushwick through his involvement with MayDay, Illumination Against Gentrification, and Mi Casa No Es Su Casa.
